I have to admit, I love designer bags, purchasing name brand clothing for my kids and going on luxury vacations. Nonetheless, to spend money on more lavish items, I am always looking for ways to save on my daily expenses.

Therefore, when I heard about Albertsons’ Gas Rewards program in Southern California in relationship with Chevron and Texaco, I was interested in seeing how it worked. Since I am a hands-on person, I downloaded the Albertsons app to my phone, which is available for iOS™ and Android® devices and headed out to my local Albertsons to learn more. During my little shopping adventure, I discovered that the Albertsons Gas Rewards program is super easy to use. Therefore, I thought I would share with you how you can start saving with Albertsons Gas Rewards
Step 1: Download the Albertsons App
I found the Albertsons app interface simple to use and I was able to register for their Gas Rewards program directly through the app. Plus, the app includes digital coupons, an area for me to track the rewards points I have accumulated, and a map of all the Chevron and Texaco and Vons gas stations that are participating in the Gas Rewards program. I love this feature because it makes it easy for me to find a location when I’m outside of my local area.
The Albertsons app is available for download on iOS™ and Android® devices.
Step 2: Shop and Earn
I am always going to the grocery store to get stuff for the kids or buy household items, and I like to buy gift cards to use on date night. One of the simplest aspects of this program for me is I can earn points for every dollar I spend on groceries, pharmacy items and double points on qualifying gift cards purchases, which allow me to incorporate it into my daily budget.
Step 3: Redeem
In the past, I did not use other Gas Rewards programs because I felt limited to where I could shop for my groceries and redeem the rewards. However, with Albertsons Gas Rewards program I can redeem the rewards at participating Chevron, Texaco or Vons Stations. What’s more, as an Albertsons shopper, I can redeem up to $0.20 per gallon in gas rewards at participating Chevron, Texaco and up to $1 per gallon in gas rewards at Vons Gas Stations.
Although, I just started using the Albertsons Gas Rewards program. I am very happy with the program and plan on incorporating it into my daily routine. I hope me sharing my experience with the program has encouraged you to start using the program too. After all, saving on your daily budget will allow you to spend more on the things you enjoy doing.

I thank you for your information. I have signed up and have gone to Chevron (Boise Idaho). They do participate and I fueled up both of my cars. But, there is no information about posting points, or if I got any points, or if I did it wrong, etc.
