We officially kicked off the holidays at a special Christmas Party at Disney Channel’s offices in Burbank. First, we saw a sneak peek of the super-secret Musical Holiday Episode of Big City Greens! The Big City Greens Holiday Musical Episode airs on Disney Channel Saturday, December 7, 9:30-10:00 A.M. EST. Then the kids received pro tips on how to draw the Big City Greens by Chris and Shane Houghton. The two are not only siblings but the shows creators and executive producers. Overall Imonni had a wonderful time and really enjoy the episode.

Holiday Episode Synopsis

“On Christmas Eve, Tilly warns Cricket that he may not be on Santa’s Nice List, so Cricket sets out to do as many good deeds as possible before the end of the day. Meanwhile, Gramma and Nancy try to come up with a last-minute gift for Bill. Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future”) guest stars as Santa Claus and Wendi McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”) returns as Nancy Green.

The second season of Disney Channel’s “Big City Greens” is set to premiere on Saturday, November 16. Created and executive produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton (“Harvey Beaks”), the series follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place family—older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice. The series is also heavily influenced by the brothers childhood growing up in the small, rural town of St. Johns, Michigan, with many of the locations and characters inspired by real-life family members and childhood townsfolk. Cricket Green is also voiced by Chris Houghton himself!

“New Big City Greens t-shirts and pop sockets are available at Amazon.com/DisneyChannel including an exclusive design by creators and executive producers Chris and Shane Houghton! Fans can also check out Disney Channel’s Fan Shop on Amazon for more merchandise.”

Thank you, Kristin Cruz and Disney Channel for inviting Imonni and I to such a beautiful party.
