Thank you Johnny Rockets for inviting us to Celebrate “Shake Month” with you. It was such a blessing.
My husband and I, along with a select group Los Angeles-area “mommy” and restaurant bloggers, had the opportunity this weekend to Celebrate “Shake Month” with Johnny Rockets & try their new “Candy Milk Shake” coming out September 16. It was hosted at the first Johnny Rockets located on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, which opened June 6, 1986. The entire event was enjoyable from start to finish.
In addition, to trying out their new “Candy Milk Shake”, we sampled some of their delicious Hamburgers, American Fries and yummy Shakes. Hubby’s not much of a beef eater, however he tried their original hamburger and thought it was pretty good. He said his burger was cooked just right! The patty was nice and juicy on a somewhat toasted bun. We loved their American Fries, they were crunchy and did not taste salty.
I have a soft spot for sweets, therefore, I indulged in Johnny Rockets array of milk shake samples. The Strawberry shake was rich and creamy with chunks of strawberries that explodes with flavor. Although you never know what to think of Banana Milk Shakes, theirs was perfect! the banana flavor was not over bearing and the combination was very balanced. Their Dark Chocolate Milk Shake was rich and creamy, as well.
.
Although, I liked, all of their shake, my favorite is the new “Candy Milk Shake”, coming out September 16. If you are a M&M’s fan, like I am, this is a perfect shake, for you. It has the right blend of M&M’s and Johnny Rockets special made ice cream. It’s was very creamy, not clumpy nor hard to drink though a straw.
Johnny Rockets establishments always featuring upbeat music and their staffs dance every half-hour. This is to provides an experience that brings friends and family together. So course, before learning how to make the perfect shake. I had to watch the crew let loose on the dance floor and show off some Famous Johnny Rocket moves.
