Lately, chores have been an ongoing argument in my house. About six months ago, we had an issue where my two teenage boy refused to wash dish. My husband and I could get the 13 year old (Houston) to do his part, however, our 16 year old (Justin) actually boycotted doing them. We took away Justin’s cell phone, video games and he wasn’t allowed to go out with his friends. However, it did not matter what items we took away, he absolutely would not wash one DISH.

So after, dealing with a 3 week standoff between Josh and us, we decided it was time to call a family meeting. We figured, they are both teenagers, therefore it’s time for them to pick their own chores. Houston chose to wash dishes every night {Yeah . . . Right}, clean the play room and sweep all of the floors. In exchange for, Justin cleaning their bedrooms and the BATHROOM. I was like, you’ve got to be kidding me, I don’t enjoy cleaning the toilette, how in the world is Justin going to do it!!

The first week of our new agreement went ok. Both boys did all of their chores, when asked, and I did a great job keeping everything nice and clean. But, we had one big issue, I prefer to wipe down my counters, floors, tables and toilette with bleach. That is how my mother taught me to clean those area’s of our home, even though the fumes where strong. In time, I just got use to the smell.   However, that wasn’t the case with the boys. Their dad dislike using bleach and has a hissy fit every time, I use it. So, the kids had to follow suit and complain every time they had to clean with Bleach. A little bit of me just wanted to take their complaint as them getting out of work. However, I still wanted them to be comfortable with the cleaning products they used to do their chores. So when the opportunity came to try out the  Mr. Clean® Liquid Muscle™, I jumped on it.

When I received, my Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle cleaning kit, it included, a bucket, sponge and full size sample.  I needed to clean my stove and it’s the toughest area of my home. So, I figure, let’s test this out on the stove first. Then we can really see how well it works. Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle is very concentrated, therefore, a little on a sponge went a long way. I was impressed on how easy the dirt came off and it really cuts through grease. In regards, to my boys, they both tried it and actually loved it. Justin, cleaned the bathroom by putting some in a bucket and wiping down the floors, shower and sink. Then he put some on a sponge and cleaned the inside and outside of the toilet. He told me, it was much easier to use and he liked the fresh scent. For a matter of fact, he loved how it smelled so much, every time he walked into the bathroom, he would scream”Wow MOM look at my master piece . . . it smells so FRESH it here!”

Overall, Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle is a great product and as a family we appreciate being able to try it out. Honestly, we don’t always purchase the products we review, after they run out. However, Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle official is a staple in our home.
