If you know me well you know how much I love Knott’s Berry Farm. My husband and I had our first dates there and Knott’s is one of the first theme parks we took our kids too. I honestly love all things Knott’s Berry Farm especially at this time of the year when Knott’s has their annual food-inspired event Knott’s Boysenberry Festival that celebrates the park’s historic roots by highlighting the little berry that started it all, the boysenberry. If you are a foodie this an event you have to check out that is wonderful for the entire family. I honestly love this event and this year my six-year-old daughter not only wanted play in Camp Snoopy, but she was also just as interested to try everything on the food card as the rest of us :). So I thought this year we would highlight some of the great food options that Knott’s Boysenberry Festival had for kids.
Today’s Mom Guide is sponsored by Knott’s Berry Farm; all options are my own.

Must see shows and activities for the whole family
Every trip to Knott’s Berry Farm included a visit to Camp Snoopy, of course. However, Knott’s has tons of thing that you can do with the kids throughout the part from viewing art to visiting the petting zoo.
Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree! – Guests are invited to join Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts Gang in a musical stage show that will have families dancing along at the Calico Mine Stage.
MacDonald Petting Zoo – Young ones and young at heart are invited to cozy up to the cutest critters on the farm including horses, sheep, goats and other furry friends. Old MacDonald’s farm pays tribute to one of the farm’s original attractions.
History Of Boysenberry -The History of Boysenberry gives you a wonderful history of the Boysenberry Festival and the famous chicken dinner restaurant. Both videos are about 15 minutes in total. Plus mom if you need a place to just relax and have the kids rest there is inside seating.
Tied up in Knott’s! – “Tied Up in Knott’s!” is a tribute art show dedicated to the rich history of Knott’s Berry Farm. Over 30 artists will be contributing 50 pieces of art to the show, which pays homage to Knott’s Berry Farm’s past, present and future in various mediums including oil paintings, illustrations, and digital mixed media. These original pieces will be hung on display at the Wilderness Dance Hall during the duration of the Boysenberry Festival. (Click here for a list of other shows and entertainment.)
Mommy Time
Once Joy is tuckered out I will end my visit to Knott’s Boysenberry Festival by relaxing in the wine tasting room located inside of Ghost Town’s Wilderness Dance Hall. Every year, I make it a point to treat myself to a few glasses of Boysenberry, which happens to be one of my favorites. As part of the festival, the Wine and Craft Brew Garden offers 4 craft brews and over 50 different wines from 36 producers including boysenberry beer and boysenberry wine. The wine selections represent 27 renowned wine regions from 8 countries. The wine program was curated to offer a little of everything, from the latest trends in blends and small production wines to adventurous selections from up & coming wine regions, as well as bold domestic & import classics for the more discerning wine aficionado.
