Well, in my house, the television is taken over by the weekly football game. But it wasn’t always that way. Prior to Joy’s birth, Matt and I had an agreement that we would only watch the Super Bowl, since I didn’t like or understand the game. I loved the agreement. Unfortunately, once my sons started playing football, the arrangement slowly disappeared and I found our family TV taken over by football on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Instead of getting bitter, I decided to join in the fun by turning game night into a little party. I love being creative with snacks, so I recently purchased a set of cookie cutters in the shape of footballs, helmets, jerseys, and flags in order to create fun snacks for them.
Since it’s football season, I thought I would create mini football sandwiches. They’re affordable and easy to make. Here’s the recipe for football-shaped egg-salad sandwiches. Ingredients: 5 hard-boiled eggs 1 cup olives 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1/2 cup green onions 1 tablespoon garlic powder 4 Tablespoon cream cheese Wheat bread Step 1: Chop up hard-boiled eggs. Place eggs in a large bowl, and mix in olives, garlic powder, green onions, and cream cheese. Step 2: Cut football shape out of slices of bread using a football-shaped cookie cutter, spread mayonnaise over each slice, and fill in with mixture. Step 3: You can’t have a party without drinks. Add a little fun and creativity to create lasting memories out of everyday family moments by pairing your sandwich with a mini Coca-Cola.
When you add refreshing Coca-Cola to any situation, things go from good to great. Because when you add a little delicious Coca-Cola, it all adds up to memories. Check out more Party Food’s on our Pinterest Board. Follow MrsKathyKing’s board Foosball inspired Food on Pinterest.

This is slightly different than the egg salad I have been making for years. I never thought of using olives and cream cheese… this recipe sounds really delicious!

I wasn’t sure how the cream cheese would turn out, but it’s really good. You can ever use like the flavored cream cheeses.

I love the idea, and the attitude that although things change, it can be a good thing. I don’t particularly care for football but it is actually a great time to get together with friends. Thank you for this recipe.
