Everyone has a little Nerd in them some more than others, but with Nerd HQ that doesn’t matter that’s why I support NERD HQ!
Nerd HQ is for anyone and everyone who has a passion for something whether is’s gaming, fashion, celebrities, electronics… I can go on and on with a list of thing people are passionate about. Nerd HQ has been going on since 2011 & has been a hit each year, and now it is upon us again! This July in San Diego Nerd HQ will be back, but they need help!
What is Nerd HQ you ask? Nerd HQ run by Actor Zachary Levi, is a FREE 4 day event which features celebrity panels, gaming & tech experiences, all while raising money to support Operation Smile. To this day Nerd HQ has raised over $415,000 dollars for Operation Smile WOW that’s a lot of happy smiles! Nerd HQ is live-streamed to everyone, FOR FREE, no matter where you are in the world. The physical event in San Diego is COMPLETELY FREE for everyone to enter and enjoy. I also hear that they throw the most epic dance parties for both fans and celebs, again, TOTALLY FREE. In fact, the only things that cost you money at Nerd HQ, aside from all the charitable activations, is Nerd Machine merchandise and the food & beverage that you may buy while enjoying the festivities.
Unfortunately for Nerd HQ the funding strategy they have been using to produce Nerd HQ is no longer viable due to venue deadlines and the commitments required by the Nerd Machine to properly plan the event. That’s why it is so important to all of us nerds out here to help keep this event free for all! You have a powerful voice and the Nerd Machine needs you to use that voice and let the world know you support this campaign, whether you can contribute or not.
Do not fear though! We can all help keep this wonderful event going! Right now Actor Zachary Levi is currently running a campaign on Indigogo to raise funds for this amazing event.
