One of the most beautiful feelings is realizing that you are actually living your dreams. When I started my site, I had no clue what adventures would follow. However by the grace of God, I’ve been able to things beyond my imagination. I was able to attend this event because Disney/Pixar, Disney Channel, and ABC sent me to Los Angeles on an all-expenses-paid press trip, in exchange for my coverage of this and others events, all opinions are my own.
This week, I was blessing to attend the Green Carpet Premiere of Disney “The Good Dinosaur” at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood California. The Good Dinosaur is a heartwarming film about friendship. When an Apatosaurus named Arlo, who develops an unlikely friendship with a human. As the two travel through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns to confront his fears, discovers what he is truly capable of.

I loved the charming landscape in the movie, and it was exciting seeing the Green carpet decorated to replicate the river that Arlo uses as a guide to finding his way back home. As made my way down the carpet, I felt as if I was walking through an animated forest. Only this forest was filled with some of the biggest talents in Hollywood, and we were all following the stream to watch this season hottest movie.
Favorite moments:
After the movie we head over to the OHM Nightclub for THE GOOD DINOSAUR premiere party. Where I had a chance to meet some of my favorite actors and actresses.
Actor Ryan Ochoa ‘Arlo’ attend the premiere with his family. After the premiere, I was able to talk with him for a few minutes at the premiere party which was pretty awesome.

Director Peter Sohn took time to greet fans and sign autographs on the Green Carpet. At the after party, I had an opportunity meet him and talk to him a bit about the movie. Peter Sohn is know for his work as the voice of characters of Emile from Academy Award®-winning “Ratatouille” and Scott “Squishy” Squibbles from “Monsters University.”

“Sanjay’s Super Team” Director Sanjay Patel and Emily Haynes took time to take pictures on the carpet. At the after party, I had a chance to talk briefly with him about parenting, and he shared with me how excited he is to be a dad and what the animated short Sanjay’s Super Team means to him.

The beautiful Yara Shahidi from Black-ish attended the premiere and remembered me last year at the premiere of Big Hero 6. During the show, she was sitting a few seats behind me, and when I looked back, her mother and her waved at me. I was completely shocked and said ” You remember me?” and they nodded their heads yes and she said ‘Your Mrs. Kathy King”, which was truly an OMG moment for me.

At the after party, I was able to get a selfie with Sam Elliott and three of my friends Yolanda from (Sassy Mommy in LA,) Tee (Thats It Mom), and Shelby (OC MOM Blog).
Finally before leaving to head back to the hotel, meet two of my all time favorited stars Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer and it was surreal. Although the pair is known for their roles as Bill and Sookie in True Blood, Anna does yet another outstanding job as the voice of Ramsey in Disney Good Dinosaur
In all, I want to thank Walt Disney Studios for blessing to celebrate this premiere of this movie with them.
