I’m always looking for new shows to watch with my kids, especially my little one.  Those of you with young kids (or grandkids ) know how hard it is to find the right content.  You don’t want it to be too dumb, too violent or even too boring.  Well, I’m happy to say that I’ve found something that could hit all the requirements just right, and it’s on Amazon of all places. Today’s post was sponsored by Amazon Studios all thoughts are my own.

“The Stinky & Dirty Show” comes from Amazon Studios and features an adorable pair of cartoon trucks: Stinky, a garbage truck, and Dirty, a pickup truck.  The show follows these two as they go on adventures and solve problems by first asking “What if?”.  It’s full of some very funny, slapstick moments that offer a clean viewing experience for the whole family.

3 Lessons Kids Will Learn From Watching “The Stinky & Dirty Show”

1. The Power of Thinking

“What’s that you’re doing?” Stinky will ask. “Thinking!” Dirty will reply. A common theme throughout the show is the value of sitting down for second and just considering the possibilities. In our fast-paced world, it’s essential for kids the learn the importance of just taking a moment to think things over. From the very first episode of the show, we see these two lovable autos solve the problems by just mulling over the possibilities.

2. Resourcefulness snd_power_of_garbage_1080x1080

Stinky and Dirty throughout out the episode is flexing their minds and approaching things from new and different angles. Ultimately having to be very resourceful and getting creative by building makeshift tools and materials out of trash. I love this aspect of the show because it teaches kids to think outside the box.

3. Teaches Teamwork

One of the things that stuck out most to me was how the two are always having a great time. They always get the project done working together as a team and having fun, never arguing or wasting time. whats more, In short, they encourage the kinds of relationships I want my kids to model in The Real World.”
