A few weeks ago, my family and I were blessed to review the Vizio SmartCast Sound Bar System for Home Theater and work’s like magic as the centerpiece to our living room alongside our Vizio SmartCast TV turning our living room into a Home Theater.
As I’m writing this, I’m shocked at how many uses the soundbar system fulfills. Music, movies, TV, you name it sounds phenomenal on the sound bar. In fact, part of me is more impressed by the soundbar than the 4K TV itself, but I love them both as a pair.
The first thing I did with the soundbar was watched a Star Wars marathon of course, and while Anakin and Obi-Wan were bickering at one another in front of me, shortly after I could hear their lightsabers crashing behind me as if I were there. The sound was so detailed that I could hear bubbles rising and popping in the lava they stood upon, and it was like I was watching Star Wars in an exciting and new way.
Whenever someone in my family is cleaning, we like to play our favorite music on the speakers, whether it’s Kendrick Lamar’s latest stuff, or Joy was listening to My Little Pony soundtracks. I imagine that the speakers would be perfect for if you’re hosting a party or small get together with friends.
The Vizio SmartCast App is the unsung hero in all of this as it makes using the sound system so much easier from your phone. I like that I can sit down in my living room and cast anything to the soundbar with the click of a button, whether it’s Youtube TV, Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, you name it.
All-in-all, the Vizio SmartCast Sound Bar System is a stellar piece of technology for your home. It a more of a higher end purchase, but it’s worth every dime. Its functionality is smooth as butter and is easy for anyone to set up and use. And of course, the sound quality is out of this world, every ripple, tear, boom, swish, and blast sounds crisp in the most subtle ways.
