This weekend was amazing!!! I had one of those weekends that makes you just sit back in awe of what God can do.
Hosted by Sony Picture Animations
On Friday, we attend an advanced screening of Sony Picture Animated new film “The Star” In Sony Pictures Animation’s The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.
Then on Saturday, I was blessed to interview Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi ( Mary & Joseph), Patricia Heaton (Edith) and Director Timothy Reckart at the London Hotel. the interview was one of the most charming interviews of the year. During the interviews, the cast share shared with me what they hope kids will learn from seeing this film.
After the interviews, I joined Matt and Joy downstairs was we made Gingerbread Nativity Scenes. Matt loves working with clay, therefore, as soon as he saw tootsie rolls how he was going to build Mary and Joseph. I think it turned out great! ❤????
We ended the weekend by celebrating the release of the new film and attending premiere party for Sony Picture Animated The Star Movie. The party was beautiful and my daughter enjoyed spending time with her dad creating ornaments.
It was an incredible weekend and I am thankful the team at Sony Pictures Animation for including my family and me.
