Understanding how stress shows up in daily behavior is an important step for any parent who wants to support their child’s emotional well-being.

Behavior Changes That Signal Stress

Sudden mood swings, irritability, or withdrawal can often indicate a child is dealing with more than a bad day. Changes in sleep patterns, appetite, or a decline in academic performance may also point to internal stress.
