Each year the LA Zoo invites Santa and his reindeer to come and spend time in Los Angeles. We had a wonderful time and know that it is great for other family’s. It was fascinating to see the reindeer live and up close. We made sure to take advantage of the opportunity to take photos with Santa Clause and it was such an exciting way to start the holiday season.
To add to the fun there is an arts and craft station where each member of the family was able to decorate their own antlers to wear around the park. As the days are cooling off we were also able to take advantage of the zoo having chocolate which is always a favorite in our family.
We absolutely enjoyed seeing Santa and the reindeer but there is also so much to see. After our holiday fun we continued to walk around the LA Zoo and see all of the other amazing animals that live there throughout the year. My personal favorite was seeing the beautiful snow leopards. My children were excited to see all of the different animals but were happy that we stopped and took a break at the playground. The Reindeer Romp was definitely the highlight of our LA Zoo experience and is our favorite time of the year to visit. With so much to do and see it was definitely a full day of fun.
