Summer is in full swing, and so far it has been a hot one! One of the best ways to beat the heat is playing in the sprinkler. Don’t have a sprinkler? Never fear! the Pop Bottle Sprinkler is an easy, inexpensive way to make a sprinkler using items that can be found in your home!Items needed for Your Pop Bottle Sprinkler:
- A garden hose
- Duct tape
- Empty 2 liter bottle
Instructions:
- Use a small screw driver, or something similar to poke holes into the plastic bottle
- Tape the bottle to the hose using duct tape
- Turn the water on and have fun
Now with just three items easily found in your home you have a fun, inexpensive Pop Bottle Sprinkler tha is a way to stay cool. This is the perfect solution for a summer get together or birthday party!

Thanks. I don’t use a sprinkler often but there are times I really wish I had one. That is usually when we are already in the middle of being sprayed down with the hose. Not exactly a convenient time to run to the store. Now I have an alternative.

This is one of the neatest ways I have ever seen to have a nice sprinkler for the kids. When my Grand Children come over this Summer I sure will use this clever idea to make a sprinkler for them. I am definitely try the water bottle sprinkler this summer. My youngest kids are twin 8 yr old boys and my daughter is 10. In the summer they tend to play with water balloons and the water house too often. This would be something different and safe we could do. GREAT idea.
