Ozeri Instavac Green Earth Food Storage containers

During the holiday’s, Justin has to buy me a new set of storage containers because  the kids always loses my tops. I normally don’t get the fancy one’s, so I really don’t mind. However, the Ozeri Instavac Green Food Storage Containers are really nice. I received a set of 4 containers and I already have them on lockdown in my kitchen cupboards.

Here’s why I love the Ozeri Instavac Green Earth Food Storage containers:

They are clear making it very easy to see items in the fridge. In addition, I am use to the cheapy containers; these however are very sturdy and shatterproof.

I am starting to organize my kitchen and my biggest issue is keeping all of my storage containers together, however, these fit neatly inside of each other.

They can are BPA safe and you can easily use then in your mirocrowave and clean in the dishwasher.

There are ridges at the bottom of the container so your veggies and fruits do not get soggy sitting in their juices. They sides have locking tabs on each side makings the lids very secure.

I was impressed with the patented valve system with a number wheel to keep track of the date you put your food in the container. This system keeps food fresh and helps fruits and vegetables last longer

This is how the Valve System works:

1) First you close the container and close all four tabs.

2) Then you push down in the center of the lid. I heard a little whistle sound as I vacuumed out the air, using the air valve on the top.

3) Once I closed the vale the is little green button in the center of the white number wheel sinks in so you know the vacuum seal is working.

At first, when I tried to open my container, I was having a little trouble. However, Justin came in and showed me where to lift the green air valve on the top. Which made it much easier to open.  I think the Ozeri Instavac Green Food Storage Containers is a must have in your kitchen.
