I love the Goosebumps book series written by R. L. Stine and used to buy them for my boys. During October, we like to binge-watch tv series on Netflix. Now that Goosebumps 2 is out in theaters, I figured it was the perfect time to pay tribute to our favorite character Slappy by creating a Goosebumps 2 Printable Halloween Party Decoration.
Our Goosebumps 2 Printable Halloween Party Decoration will defiantly make any Halloween party complete. I recommend hanging it on the side of your front door so your guest can see it as they leave the party. Afterward, if you a Goosebumps fan in your house, they can use this piece as a bedroom door cover.
I’ve included 2 different ways for you to create our Goosebumps 2 Printable Halloween Party Decoration
2D Design – If you are looking for a piece that is a detailed piece here are the instructions for our 2d design.
Materials Needed
- 6 sheets of 60 lb paper
- Color printer
- Scissor or Cricut Explore Air
- Hot Glue Gun
- 2 Glue Sticks
- Duct Tape
Instructions
Step 1 – Print the images below. Then using a Cricut Explore or scissors cut out all the pieces.
- Slappy Silhouette –
- Slappy Face and Hairpieces –
- Slappy Clothing –
- Words for the sign –
- The green part of the sign
- The black part of the sign
Step 2 – Make the Braces for Slappy Head by turning over the Slappy Silhouette and using a glue gun pasted two large popsicle sticks to the back or you can make the braces by cutting out (2) 5” by 3″ strips, fold each one three times and glue to the back using a glue gun.
Step 3 – Assemble the Slappy Head Figure for your sign by pasting on the face first, then hairpiece. Next, paste on Slappy’s coat, shirt, bow tie shadow ( the gray piece), bow tie and corsage. Then add his eyes, lips, and eyebrows. Use the example below to gauge where each piece should be placed.
Step 4 – Assemble the sign by gluing the black section to the middle of the green second. Then place your Slappy head figure to the left section of the green and black sign and glue gun. Then add your lettering. (If you are cutting this manually, print out page 3 of our quick and easy version of the craft. Then cut out the black area and paste on to the green. You may have to trim down the black sign for it to fit.)
Step 5 – Turn over your sign and attached rope to the back with duct tape.
For those of you that need something that is quick and easy. Here is the same sign that you can do in 3 quick steps.
Step 1 – Print and cut out the items on page 1 and 2 by clicking on the image below.

I can’t wait to make this! My kids and I are long-time Goosebump fans, so I know this will make the perfect Halloween addition to our house.

Thank you so much 🙂 If you have a Cricut you will need to fit everything onto the face within the design studio. I personally think it’s easier to cut everything out by hand. However, I’m not the Cricut and it may be a step that I missed.
