Ok, I have a small confession. I love technology, and honestly, do not limit the amount of time my daughter Joy plays on her two tablets. I know some of you may be horrified at my statement, however, before you get all judgy, hear me out. I’ve been blessed to raise three kids, and there is a 13 year age gap between Joy and her brothers. Through that time, I have noticed Joy learns things much faster than her brothers, and I believe that is because I load her tablet with educational games. What more, Matt, her brothers and I screen everything that is loaded.
Recently, we were contacted by MomSelect to check out a new app from based off Dreamworks Animation popular TV series Noddy Toyland Detective in the new game Noddy Toyland Detective – Let’s Investigate! Developed by Kuato. Kids ages 5 and up are invited to join Noddy as Toyland’s most famous detective in an adventure filled with storytelling, learning, and creative fun!
Joy is very picky and often times, I find myself quickly deleting a game she just requested for me to download. However, she loved playing this one and before she went to bed asked me if she could play it again tomorrow.
The game is filled with interactive things for kids to do. Joy is very creative, so some of her favorite things to do on the app included:
I wasn’t sure if she would easily be able to navigate through the game without my help. However, to my surprise, she quickly figures out the question to uncover clues and solve mysteries with the ‘Who-What-Where book.’
She loves to sing and really enjoyed creating musical masterpieces with the Pirate Band which was very easy for her to do using simple tap and touch controls that are integrated into the game.
Matt could not resist helping Joy paint and decorate Revs the car with colorful shapes and designs.
Joy also liked helping the Brickabuild builders solve jigsaw puzzles.

Wow! Kids these days for sure love technology too, I don’t blame you at all if tour little one spends too much on tech. My girls as well love technology and oh boy, it can be hard at times to get them off. As long as I know my girls are playing educational apps everything is fine! I will be taking a look at kuato products and Noddy !!
