I have to say, I am completely a daddy’s girl. I think it’s because my father took extra care to make every day special for me.

Here's a simple Coca-Cola float that is perfect for any day or any type of weather.

There’s a beautiful memory that keeps replaying in my head, and I think it’s now time to share that memory. One rainy day, my brother and I were watching movies while my father had left to run some errands. About an hour later, he returned home carrying a grocery bag filled with goodies, and told us he had something special in store for us.  A few minutes later, he came out with two Coca-Cola floats for us. We were both surprised because it was raining outside. However, as he took a sip of his float, he said, “Floats make any day even better,” and just laughed. My dad always had a special way of making a great day even better.

Fast forward about 25 years, and I am blessed to have two teenagers of my own, and a toddler running the household. My youngest son, Sean, is an honors student, and I am so proud of all his hard work. He likes to text me during the day to give me an update on his grades. Much like my dad, I just love doing special things for my kids to make them smile.

Sometimes when he least expects it, I like to surprise him with a classic Coca-Cola float while he is doing his homework.

Here are the ingredients for a Coca-Cola float:

  •  1 can of Coca-Cola
  • 2 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 cherry
  • A dab of whipped cream
  • And a special memory for him that will last a lifetime

Of course, I can make any type of float, but there’s something about making a Coca-Cola float that makes a good day even better. Maybe it’s because Coca-Cola adds a little fun and creativity to create lasting memories out of everyday family moments.

When you add refreshing Coca-Cola to any situation, things go from good to great. Because when you add a little delicious Coca-Cola, it all adds up to memories.
