Early Man is about a plucky cave man named Dug, his sidekick Hognob and the rest of their tribe face a grave threat to their simple existence. Lord Nooth plans to take over their land and transform it into a giant mine, forcing Dug and his clan to dig for precious metals. Not ready to go down without a fight, Dug and Hognob must unite their people in an epic quest to defeat a mighty enemy — the Bronze Age.
From the creators of Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit and features the voices of Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, and Maisie Williams. If you are a Wallace and Gromit fan you will love the quirky jokes and while kids will love the claymation. I had an opportunity to watch this film with Joy and she was glued to the screen.
The lesson Kids will learn from Early Man
Team Work Makes the Dream Work
If your child is in sports, then everyone on their team should see this movie. The overall message kids will learn from this film is they can accomplish anything when everyone on the team works together.
Don’t Give UP
The tribe leader it doesn’t think is tribe is that good and feel that they should just give up. However, Doug sees the glass full and motivates them to keep trying no matter how bad this look. Which I feel will inspire kids to go for their dreams.
One goal can be accomplished in nomours ways
The primary female character Goona (voiced by Maisie Williams) is crazy about football. However, she wasn’t allowed to play the game, competitively, because she was a girl. As the story progress, despite her obstacle she finds an alternate way to be included in the game. Which shows young girls that no matter what obstacle are in their way as long as they keep moving forward they can accomplish their goals.
Those are the main lesson, I took away from the film and I hope you find them helpful.
