Through the year’s I’ve loved all other special events that Knott’s Berry Farm has hosted. However, this summer Knott’s Berry Farm has shift gear with a suite of all-new original adventure. From the exciting, new white water attraction in Calico River Rapids, to the brand-new nighttime party in Knott’s Summer Nights, I truly believe Knott’s is one of the best places to spend your summer nights this year with the family because they offer something for everyone.
Live Music
When the sun sets, the farm comes alive with an all-new nighttime summer party that will liven up the night at Knott’s. Knott’s summer nights is truly a community event where everyone comes together at the Calico Park to enjoy food, games and live music from a variety of bands that rotate at the Calico Park stage nightly, rock out to a top 40’s band at the Calico Mine Stage to beats of the Boardwalk DJ around Charleston Circle Fountain.
Kid-Friendly Tip 1) I recommend finding a picnic bench in the front on the left side of the stage. There are two fun games there that will keep the kids occupied and you get a great view of the stage too. If you have older kids you can sit and watch the show while the kids play the various games that are set up and the boardwalk area is also nearby as well.
Classic Summer Foods
At night Guests will experience food in a whole new way dinning on an array of seasonal flavors created by Knott’s culinary team. Park visitors can purchase a tasting card that includes a tasty twist to a few classic summer favorites. There is also a build-your-own-S’mores stations and hand-crafted ice cream flavors. My personal favorite was the Shrimp & Sauage Skewer.
Kid-Friendly Tip 2) Imonni enjoyed eating the following items Cookie-wich, Chill in a Cornbread Bowl, Chicken & Veggie Skewer, Sausage on a Bun and Boysenberry Lemonade.
Family – Friendly Games
Knott’s summer nights is the perfect place for families and friends to come together to connect and unplug. There are tons of games and activities that are set in motion by the Knott’s Party Crew that guest to do. Oversized classic games and festoon lighting provide a relaxing atmosphere for you and your family to just hang out and unwind.
Kid-Friendly Tip 3 This is the type of event that you can bring the kids in the day time where they can get wet at Soak City, play at Camp Snoopy or experience life old west by participation in various activities available during Ghost Town Alive (All New Storyline for 2019 Select Days May 24 – September 2).
