My grandmother was a professional dancer. I loved the stories she told about her experience as a tap dancer at the Cotten Club. Because of her, I have an appreciation for dance, and I admire the art. So when I found out about getting a dance lesson from Chrissie Fit (‘Chee Chee’) and Jordan Fisher(‘Seacat’) from Teen Beach 2, I was super excited. This amazing experience and blessing was because Disney/Pixar, Disney Channel, and Disney XD sent me to Los Angeles on an all-expenses-paid press trip, in exchange for my coverage of this and others, all opinions are my own.

Before our lesson, we were given a private screening of Teen Beach 2 which airs on Friday, June 26th at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Disney Channel. Teen Beach 2 is an enjoyable movie that teaches kids several lessons such as: believing in themselves, following their destiny, the importance of friendship, and girls can do anything a boy can do. I adore the storyline and can not wait to watch it with my kids when it come out on DVD.

After the Screening, we did a Q & A with Chrissie Fit (‘Chee Chee’) and Jordan Fisher(‘Seacat’) before going into our lesson. What impressed me the most about both actors is their strong beliefs in staying in school while pursuing your dreams and working hard to reach your goal. I feel today’s generations has lost track of this concept, so it was nice to know they support education first.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to keep up with the group. However, I had a blast learning moves from my favorite dance scene in the movie Teen Beach 2′. I loved the dance lesson, and I can not remember when I had so much fun.

Ahhh! I can’t wait until this comes out so I can show my kids too! We’re already dancing all around the house. 🙂
