Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is due to hit theater’s on October 10, 2014. However, I was blessed to see the movie in advance and attend a press junket at the  Four Seasons Hotel, in Los Angeles, on Saturday, September 27th. The movie is based one of my favorite childhood books,  “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” by Judith Viorst.  About an 11-year-old boy, Alexander, who experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life where he encounters one catastrophe after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures they provided little sympathy and he begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. However,  He quickly learns that he’s not alone when his mom, dad, brother and sister all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

I found it interesting that each member of the family has their own personalities, which causes them  each to respond to their very bad day differently. Therefore, after seeing the movie and attending the press conference, I thought it would be great for you to get to know the family before you see the film.  Please feel free to share this with your friends by clicking on the share button to the left.

“I don’t think I’ve ever played anything closer to my real life. Not that I have days as bad as this, but just days with the chaos of having a bunch of kids in the house.” Says Garner.
