When Joy turned about 16 months, I begin to worry about her not watching TV like other children. My concern was she might not be able to focus or that she may have a serious condition. I tried getting her to watch several different channels but, nothing held her attention. Until, one day, I decided to let her watch an video on YouTube from my ipad and since then she’s watched video after video. However, my biggest issue is it’s difficult playing videos on our Tv and I can’t filter everything she stumbles across.
So, of course, I started to research all of the different subscription services. Although there’s a lot of different services, most are not very family-friendly. Recently, I was blessed to try Feeln a movie subscription service that shows films that entertain, inspire and delight audiences of all ages. I’m currently using the service and I love how they offer a broad range of movies, including Hollywood blockbusters, critically acclaimed Oscar winners, classic favorites and original series.
The Feeln Differences
What makes Feeln much different from other services is they select all of their programs based on two simple tests.
The Quality Standards:
Every movie added to their programming must have an uplifting story with extraordinary writing, acting, and directing. In addition, it must be so well-crafted that it moves, delights, or inspires and stays with you long after the final credits roll. This was one thing, I notice right off the bat. I was able to choose from a wide range of titles such as, The Secret Garden, Annie, The Iron Giant, Jumanji and numerous other titles.
The “Together” Test:
Their second standard is more difficult to meet, but critical to why they charge. Every movie can be watched with everyone in your home. Many of the movies I loved as kid and I love being able to enjoy them again with Joy and the entire family.
Titles like Charlotte’s Web, The Muppets Take Manhattan and Free Willy! These were movies I had on DVD, however, through time the boys lost them. But with Feeln, I can now watch them anytime. What’s more, Joy can watch it almost anywhere. I am able to access Feeln from my computer, iPhone, iPad or Kindle Fire. Their system also supports Google TV, Apple TV, XBox 360, Android, Nook and Roku.
Original Series:
Growing up I love watching Rainbow Brite! Well, now she is back and better then ever exclusively on Feeln! Joy and I spent some quality time, watching the new Rainbow Brite and this new reboot is awesome! You can get the monthly service for $4.99 per month or a year for $47.99 ($3.99 per month).
