Leading Footwear Retailer Invites Public to Grand Opening Celebration at New Store in Ridgecrest

As a Mom, I am always looking for a deal especially when it comes to buying shoes for the boys. For a matter of face we’ve just had to buy cleats for them!!!

One of the stores, I always try to make a stop into during back to school shopping is Famous Footwear and only July 16 Famous Footwear  is opening a new store in Ridgecrest, California, marking its 35^th location in the Los Angeles market.

Location: The Ridgecrest Town Center at 700 N. China Lake Blvd.

Residents are invite to come join in on the grand opening celebration. The 5,978-square-foot store will be hosting an all-day grand opening event on July 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shoppers are invited to experience fun activities including:

• A local shoe artist customizing shoes for customers from noon to 6 p.m.
• Drawings every hour from noon to 6 p.m. for a chance to win free shoes.
• An appearance from popular local radio station, KGBB-FM 103.9, giving shoppers the chance to meet some of their favorite radio personalities.
• A DJ spinning live music.
