In a world where dreams often seem like distant stars, I once shared with my friends an audacious vision – to become an entertainment blogger. The mere thought of gracing red carpets, attending press junkets, and experiencing the glitz and glamour of that world felt like a fantasy. Deep down, a part of me was terrified. You see, I never considered myself a skilled writer. The journey began with self-doubt, and the realization that 300 words could consume an entire eight-hour day did little to quell my fears. Yet, I was resolute in my determination to prove to myself that I could do it.
From 2011 to 2018, I embarked on a thrilling adventure, covering almost every family-friendly film that crossed my path. Opportunities abounded as I engaged in DIY collaborations and Press Trips, forging connections with industry giants like Disney, Sony Pictures Animations, and other studios. What started as a crazy dream became a reality, a testament to the power of perseverance.
Fast forward to 2023, where a new chapter unfolded. Fueled by determination, I set my sights on becoming a T3 mentor at Powur PBC. The journey was not without its challenges, but with the grace of God and the unwavering support of those around me, I achieved this goal, adding another accomplishment to my ever-evolving story.
Now, as 2024 unfolds, a fresh, exhilarating idea has taken root in my mind. Drawing upon 20 years of marketing experience, I am merging my expertise with an unwavering passion for solar. The plan? To collaborate with contractors and serve their clients in a way that is both unique and authentic. Yes, there’s fear, an acknowledgment of the unknown. Yet, I refuse to let fear dictate my path. I choose to walk in faith, trusting the journey even when it’s obscured from my sight. My heart, my inner compass, urges me with a resounding cry: “JUST DO IT.”
It may sound unconventional, perhaps a bit crazy, but this journey is a testament to the belief that extraordinary things happen when we step outside our comfort zones.
