This is such a super cute idea! These are one Easter craft that you can save for mantle decorations or a centerpiece annually. The Easter bunnies and chicks are adorable!
Supplies Needed
- Terra Cotta Pots
- Paintbrushes
- Paint
- Ribbon
- Glue Gun and Sticks
- Foam
- Wooden or Styrofoam Balls for the Heads
- Covered Wire
Instructions for Bunnies:
- Paint your pots and heads.
- Cut out your ears from the foam.
- Paint on the eyes, nose, and mouth on each head. Add cheeks too!
- Glue the head to the pot.
- Paint your wire and cut into whiskers. Then glue them onto the face.
- Glue the ears to the top of your pot.
- Add ribbon bows to make girl bunnies.
Instructions for Chicks:
- Paint your pots and heads.
- Cut out your feet and heart-shaped wings from the foam.
- Paint on the eyes, nose, and mouth on each head.
- Attach the head to the pot. Add the wings.
- Add toes with a black marker on your feet and glue them to the pot.
- Paint on clothes if wanted.
Arrange with some Easter grass in a big basket for a centerpiece or on your mantle. These would be cute to track your child’s growth. Allow them to make one each year as their keepsake!
