“The Boxtrolls” is a fantastic movie to watch with your family, and it’s storytelling arises a fresh classic. This Fall’s number one animated movie exemplifies the morals that every child should learn as he or she grows. One of my favorite parts of the movie is its in stop-motion, which results in a very imaginative and artistic world this story takes place in.
Fun & Exciting:
The movie is fun, stuffed with comedy, extremely creative and it’s far beyond enjoyable for all ages. So if you’re looking for a fun night out with the young ones, this is the ideal way to bond.
Teaches an Important Lesson:
This moral is important lesson for kids due to the fact that our society through movies, music videos and even cartoons make it seem like the more stuff you have the happier you will be. However, after seeing this film, I feel the primary message, that will be taught, is that objects like fancy cheese, or tall regal hats do not make a you who we are. That true happiness comes when you are confident in yourself.
Story Synopsis:
A family event movie from the creators of “Coraline” and “ParaNorman” that introduces audiences to a new breed of family – The Boxtrolls, a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs (voiced by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) in the amazing cavernous home they’ve built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town’s villain, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, “into the light,” where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnifred (Elle Fanning). Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs’ family.
Until next time,
