When I was in the 3 grade my father bought me a Boom Box for my birthday. I remember spending hours listening to the radio and recording hours of my favorite songs. 30 years later, when I was moving out of the home I grew up in I found my collection of cassette tapes. A little bit of me wanted to keep them, however, my kids (adult kids) who are minimalists forced me to throw everything away.
