DreamWorks Trolls is one of my favorite animated films, and Joy’s watches the DVD all of the time. Therefore, I am excited to announce Netflix new original series”Trolls: The Beat Goes On” available now!
Last month, I attended a special event where we screened a few upcoming episode, participated in various hands-on activities such as scrapbooks, interviewed executive producer Matthew Beans, Skylar Astin (voice of Branch) and Amanda Leighton (voice of poppy), and many of the creators of the new series.
Picking up where the film left off, the Netflix original series is an all-new chapter in the endlessly upbeat adventures of the Trolls as Poppy, Branch and all of Troll Village keep the party going in their fantastical forest home. Executive produced by Matthew Beans (Robot Chicken), the series features Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect 1 and 2) and Amanda Leighton (This Is Us, The Fosters) as the voices of Branch and Poppy with original songs written and produced by Alana Da Fonseca (Pitch Perfect 3).
I can’t wait to watch the complete season with, my daughter Joy. The soundtrack is as dynamic as the movie playlist and it will have the kids up dancing. What’s more, they kept up with scrapbook design theme that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
The overall message of the of series is positive and optimistic letting each child take away their own perspective of the overall lesson to be kinda. Which is a message that is much needed in the world?
