Open Season Scared Silly Party Recipe Poutine fries

In Open Season Scared Silly Ed And Edna’s open Poutine Palace. To bring this wonderful recipe to your home our team made a rendition of this Canadian dish, originating in the province of Quebec, made with french fries and cheese curds topped with a light brown gravy.

Ingredients for Open Season Scared Silly Party Recipe ~ Poutine ~

Open Season Scared Silly Party Recipe Poutine ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 4 oz white cheddar cheese curds
  • Gravy-
    • 1 Cup beef stock
    • 2 Tablespoons flour
    • 2 Tablespoons butter
    • Salt and pepper to season
    • 1/2 teaspoon kitchen bouquet

1. Preheat your oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil

2. Wash your potatoes and cut into long skinny rectangles pieces

3. Place into a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes

4. Dry your potatoes and place them on your baking pan and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper

5. Bake for 20 minutes and flip, then bake for another 20 minutes 6. Place your cooked fries into a piece of paper towel to absorb any extra oil 7. Place your hot fries in serving

1. Melt your butter over medium heat in a small saucepan

2. Once melted, add in your flour and stir until no longer clumpy

3. Season with salt, pepper, and kitchen bouquet 4. Add

4. Add in your beef stock and continue to stir until thick and creamy
