Game Day Traditions
With two teenage boys and a hubby that are all crazy about football, Game Day is huge in our home. From the time the boys were small, we always made Game Day special. When they were young, we would pick up their favorite snacks and have a family party as we watched the Big Game at home. As they got older, we have enjoyed going out to a local sports restaurant. It has been really fun to watch the Big Game on a big screen, and in the company of big football fans.
Now that Joy is getting a little older, we’d like to include her in our Game Day festivities, too. So, we are bringing the party back home and will celebrate with a family party this year. Joy is still young, so while she is excited to be a part of our family Game Day Tradition this year, I know she will not be as into the game as the boys, so I have to have a plan to keep her entertained, but let her have fun, too. We decided to create a set of activity sheets for her to do to keep her engaged as we all watch the game. Perhaps you have a little one at home – or a young guest joining you for the big game? These sheets will keep your youngest guests happy during the game, so the big football fans can enjoy the game.

Game Day Preparations
I grew up using P&G products and have continued to use them with my own family, so when you think about it they have been a part of all of our Game Day Traditions as well. To help me celebrate the Big Game Day, P&G sent me a care package that included lots of my favorite products.
- Bounty Select-A-Size paper towels will definitely come in handy! Game Day can get messy at our house. It will certainly include snacking, and of course, when you have kids and snacking, you are bound to have messes. These paper towels are great to quickly absorb any messes the kids make during our house party.
- With teenage boys, the subtle scent of Febreze Air Effects Linen & Sky comes in handy anytime of the year. I love to use it to freshen up their bedroom. I’m sure it will also come in handy to freshen up after the Big Game.
- We are serving pizza for our Game Day celebration. I know that some of that will end up on Joy’s clothes, but at least I have Tide PODS Spring Meadow handy to knock out any tough stains. Also, these Pods will help get any special Game Day gear clean and ready to cheer on our favorite team.
- Let’s be honest, we all need to stock up on toilet paper, especially if you are having guests over. Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls 12-pack is a staple in our home. I love that it is so nice and soft, and so will our guests.
All of these great P&G products, and lots of other great items for your Game Day Traditions, are available at Walmart. They have everything you need for a fabulous Game Day!
We are all set to gather together for a fun family day watching the Big Game, are you? What are your family’s Game Day Traditions?
