Top 5 Baby Products from Club MomMe’s “Family Fall Feast”

This month, I was blessed to attend Club MomMe’s most popular event “Family Fall Feast” in Bel Air. It was one of the most informative event’s I’ve attended for parents. There were several classes to choose from being a business women, I decided to check out the Entrepreneurship for Moms. I’ve had my own business since 2003, and it was inspiring hearing how other mompreneur have over come obstacle. I left the seminar feeling refreshed and ready to push forward with some new projects. In addition, to the wonderful a class, there was a great selection of new products to check out for babies and toddlers.

Here are my top picks from the event:

Joovy – Dood

When it was time to transition Joy from a bottle to a cup, I tried several different types of sippy cups,however, she did not take to any of them. I would try and try but ever time she would just push the cup away. Well I was given an opportunity to try the Dood with her and I (Joy) absolutely love it. I AM MIXED by Garcella Beauvals & Sebastian A. Jones

My kid are mixed, their father is Italian, Dutch and Scottish.  I’m Africa American, Japanese and a few other cultures mixed in there. Although, our kids are  interracial, we have always raised them that its what you are on the inside that counts.  When you ask our oldest Joshua “What are you?”  He always replays with “O I am Joshua nice to meet you . . . wait  you meant, what race am I, lol”. We are blessed to have two boys that have a strong since of who they are.  I AM Mixed by Garcella Beauvals & Sebastian A. Jones is an outstanding books that explores what it is to be of mixed ancestry, proving that a child is more than the sum of their parents. When I was raising the boys there wasn’t very many books out on this topic. If you have an interracial Child, I highly recommend this book.
