This year, Justin and I have been ultra-focused on our health. After living live confined to our home due to covid-19. We began to research different supplements and healthier eating plans. I figured many of you read Mrs.KathyKing.com, who are probably working on your health as well. So I thought I would share 5 Simple Ways to Detox Your Body and Mind with you.

In recent years, detoxification of the body and mind has taken hold, meaning there are many different ways to achieve these results.

There are detoxification supplements you can take, but there are other simple ways to detox your body, mind, and even your spirit.

By definition, detoxification is ridding your body of toxins and chemicals that can harm you. The same can be said for the detoxification of the mind and spirit.

If you’ve been considering detox for any of the above reasons, there are simple ways out there. In this article, we’ll list a few of those ways, so you can determine which ones work the best for you.

Supplements and Probiotics

Supplements, such as Liposomal Sulforaphane, can help with the detoxification process when it comes to physical detox. It works to reduce the buildup of toxins in your body and is said to make you feel great afterward.

Probiotics are also said to do the same thing, so the choice is yours on which method you want to use, or even both of them if you feel the need.

Juices and Green Vegetables

Everyone knows that you’re supposed to eat healthy foods, especially fruits and veggies, to have a healthy body and mind.

However, did you know that juices and green vegetables can help to detox your body and get rid of harmful toxins?

Add green veggies such as wheatgrass, spinach, kale, and Swiss chard to your diet for the best results. When combined with the Liposomal Sulforaphane and other supplements above, you could be well on your way to a healthier life. Of course, as with any other supplements, you should contact and get the okay from your doctor before beginning for the best results.

Drink Lemon Water

Who would have thought that sour lemons could be good for you? Drinking lemon water is said to help maintain the levels of fluid your body needs to detox and remain healthy.

Drinking lemon water helps keep the right amount of fluids in your body to flush your kidneys the way they should be, as toxins build up in the kidneys and can cause serious issues if not flushed properly.

Lemons also reduce your risk of kidney stones, so it’s a win-win in this case.

However, it is important to note that drinking too much water on an empty stomach can make you nauseous, so make sure to eat during the day as well.

Avoid Sugar

Avoiding sugar can be a feat for many people, so you don’t have to stop eating sweets altogether. It is best to eat sugar infrequently, however.

At least try to remove the sugars that have artificial sweeteners. Instead, opt to get your sugar the natural way in honey, maple syrup, date sugar, molasses, and coconut sugar.

If you simply must have sugary treats, limit yourself to only one a day for the best results if you’re looking to naturally detox.

Eliminate Toxic People From Your Life

Detox isn’t just about your physical health; it’s about your spiritual health and your mind as well. The above things can help with the physical, but what about your mind and spirituality?

Start with eliminating the toxic people in your life from your life for good. For example, the friend who encourages you to eat sugar every day, or the co-worker who urges you to go out and drink constantly doesn’t have your best interest at heart.

So, if they don’t understand what you’re trying to achieve, cut them out, and you’ll feel better about yourself.

Detox is a practice that has been under debate for some time now. However, there have been indications that it works for the body and soul of those who try it. The choice, in the end, is yours.
