Disney new film “Safety” , available exclusively on Disney+, is inspired by a true story of courage, determination and the pursuit of excellence. It explores former Clemson University football safety Ray McElrathbey (Jay Reeves), college sports experience when put up against seemingly insurmountable odds while ultimately redefining what it means to have community, family, and friendship.
I was blessed to watch this beautiful film with my family, who are a huge football family. I believe the move shows a family’s dynamic can be from a different perspective. Shows how what happens when we all come together and look out for each other instead of just ourselves. The movie had of course the perfect Football vibes. If you have someone in your family inspiring to be a football player one day, I think they will enjoy seeing the practice drills and pressure college football freshmen go through.
