Fun fact, before I get into the bulk of the article; Frozen was the very first movie I covered on the page back in 2013 (Wow, it’s been six years already!). Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Frozen 2 and I think it’s a proper sequel for Frozen. The musical numbers in Frozen 2 are extremely fun and entertaining, and there are some classics that I know will be remembered.  At its core, the film is about the love between two siblings, and having siblings of my own, a lot of the themes in this film will resonate with anyone who loves their family.

Anywho, the highly anticipated sequel to Frozen is finally here and similar to every other Disney film, there are, of course, three lessons to learn. So without further ado, here are . . .

3 Lesson’s You’ll Learn From Disney’s Frozen 2:

Have An Open Mind: Without spoiling anything, a large portion of Frozen 2 has the main characters uncovering the truth about a mystery that has affected people for a long time. At first, everyone thinks that things are the way they are because of a character’s ‘good intentions’ but then when Anna and Elsa find out that that isn’t the case, they accept what they learn even though it isn’t what they wanted to hear. I like that Frozen 2 shows the maturity of Anna and Elsa’s characters by putting them through the acceptance of tough information to handle. Apologies if this sounds a little too vague, I’m trying hard to avoid spoiling anything for you guys.

Listen To Your Calling: Throughout the movie, Elsa hears a subtle voice calling out to her that she eventually yields to. Those of you who plan on seeing the movie will find out the results that this has to offer to Elsa’s character, but it’s the film maker’s way of telling us to follow our guts and listen to the little voices we have in our heads to keep pushing.

Do The Right Thing: As the story progresses, Anna and Elsa have to make some very tough decisions. Some of the choices they have to make they know won’t be the most beneficial for themselves but they go through with them anyway because it’s what’s best for everyone. “The hardest choices require the strongest wills”, and the two main characters show great mental strength and morals by doing what’s right even if it doesn’t benefit you.

Well, there you have it guys! After having a few days to sleep off the hype and the honeymoon phase, I can still look back and say that I enjoyed Frozen 2 in depth. Frozen 2 does a great job of separating itself from the first movie while bringing in new elements and expanding the main characters. Of course, Frozen 2 is a great viewing option for the family so dont forget to grab some tickets!

Frozen 2 is out in theaters now, let us know what you think on our social media platforms!

Until Next Time
