3 Lessons Kids Can Learn From Toy Story 4

Ever since 1995, Toy Story has made kids and adults alike nostalgic about playing with their favorite toys, and raised the question, “What if our toys came to life when we were away?” Growing up, Toy Story was all I watched as a kid and hearing Rex do anything always got a good chuckle out of me. Once Toy Story 3 was released, I had been done with my toys for a while now, but the movie made me wish I was a kid again, playing with my LEGOS and Optimus Prime. Toy Story 4 puts Woody and Forky in the spotlight while they face big questions and conflict as you see from the trailer. Throughout their journey, as the story starts to bloom and come to a sincere end, there are plenty of lessons to learn.

Here are 3 Lessons You’ll Learn From Toy Story 4:

1. Team Work Makes The Dream Work: What would Buzz and Woody do without each other and their friends? In every Toy Story, there has been a conflict solved by the toys together as a team, no matter how many solo missions Buzz and Woody try to go on. In the end, whether Lotzo is running rampant, or Sid is holding everyone hostage, togetherness is what dug everyone out of their holes.

2. Start New Journeys: Whether its friendships, adventures or even a hobby, it’s okay to move on from certain things. Throughout the film, we see a few characters make leaps into new beginnings that work better for them while maintaining the love for their past. Bottom line, do what makes you happy.

AND BEYOND – Buzz Lightyear is back on the big screen in Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” joining Woody and the whole gang on an eye-opening road trip that takes them to unexpected places, including a carnival. Featuring Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz, “Toy Story 4” opens in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019. ©2019 Disney/Pixar. All Rights Reserved.

3. You’re Not Trash: As seen in the trailer, Forky thinks he deserves to be in the trash, despite being a valuable possession to Bonnie. Throughout the film, Woody tries convincing Forky of his self-worth and importance which can really be applied to anyone. If you’re reading this, you are important to someone, so Love yo’self.

LEADING THE WAY — In Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky, declares himself trash and not a toy, so Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. Featuring Tom Hanks as the voice of Woody, and Tony Hale as the voice of Forky, “Toy Story 4” opens in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.

Well, there you have it guys! Toy Story 4 is out now so grab your tickets while you can. Toy Story 4 is catered to those of us who grew up with the first Toy Story but is still an exceptional viewing option for the family, as always! Personally, I thought the movie was fantastic, took every part of my will not to cry at some parts but I pulled myself together. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

To Infinity And Beyond!
