Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine. Over 65 songs that you will know and sing along to and most important of all, a movie about believing in yourself, friendship and having confidence.fdsf
Here are 3 Lesson kids can learn from Sing
Believe in yourself!
Our beloved Gorilla, Johnny (Taron Egerton) is the son of mobster Big Daddy (Peter Serafinowicz) who wants him to follow in his criminal footsteps, but Johnny aspires to be a singer. When Johnny finally breaks free and follows his dream, the talent, energy and soul within him pours out in his music during his performance. Like most kids, what Johnny really wants is approval from his dad. As parents, all we want for our children is to be happy, healthy and successful. The fear we have for our children at times clouds our judgment. What kids will see in this film is that their parents will love them unconditionally and to follow their dreams.
Friendship
In Sing all the contestants have formed a bond, they want each other to succeed, they encourage one another to take a leap of faith. In the end, all the characters came together to help on of their friends showing the meaning of true friendship.
Be confident
Punk-rocker Ash (Scarlett Johansson) is in a band with her boyfriend Lance (Beck Bennett) who is critical of her rocking style. Eventually, despite his criticism, she learns to be confident in who she is, believes in her talent and excels. Giving kids a great example of how being confident in their own ability and trusting they have will it takes on the inside will help them accomplish their dreams as well.
