When my Family and I were invited to see a special screening of Disneynature “Bears”, by Olivia Holt, who performs the soundtrack song “Carry On” Mat and the boys could not wait to go! Mat thought it would be a great movie for Joy since she love’s animals and the boys use to watch all of documentaries that come out during the month of April. However, I wasn’t sure what to expect because I thought it was going to be another documentary. However, I was Completely WRONG!!!

Disneynature’s “Bears” comes out TODAY and it’s the perfect way to Celebrate Earth Day. Disney did an excellent job in making story line interesting the whole family will enjoy. Furthermore, there are three great lesson your child can learn from seeing the film.

{1} Brown Bear’s Habitat:

The movie does a wonderful job of teaching kids about a bear’s habitat. Disneynature “Bears” is set against a majestic Alaskan backdrop. The story takes you through a year in the life of a bear family with two impressionable young cubs. Follow them as they wake up from hibernation to start their journey in the harsh cold. As the season changes from spring to summer, the brown bears must work hard to find food while staying safe from rival male bears and other predators.

{2} Determination

Although, they faced several challenges throughout there journey, she did not give up. From the beginning of the movies to the end, I stayed in suspends at could not wait to see how she was going to overcome each obstacle.

{3} Carry On

The biggest lesson in this film was to carry on. I found it touching how the mother bear’s was driven to protect, provide and love her cubs and no matter what challenges she faced, she did not give up.

{Plus} see Disneynature “Bears” opening week  (April 18-24, 2014)  and DisneyNature will donate a potions of the ticket sales too the National Park Foundation.
